iNetworks has formed a new subsidiary company, iNetworks Venture Financial Services LLC. Through our experience with many seed & early stage companies, we recognized a need for sophisticated financial and administrative assistance that is normally not available in such small companies. Early in the process of company growth and development, management’s focus is typically on product development and fund raising. There is most likely a small number of employees, a CEO and a product development team focused on core company activities. These companies require general and sophisticated financial services, but due to the stage of the company, there is usually not a CFO or accounting staff to appropriately provide these essential services. The companies will usually outsource the accounting & CFO function, and try to manage the outsourced financial management with the internal financial management. This typically leads to problems, inefficient management, and can lead to the ultimate demise of the company.
